Nothing says “October” like decorative bras, the color pink and funds raised for the American Cancer Society!
October is breast cancer awareness month, which has quickly become one of Caesars’ most inspiring months of the year as casinos and resorts across the company come together for the cause. To date, Caesars Entertainment and the Caesars Foundation have contributed almost $4 million to cancer-related organizations through cash and in-kind donations.
Caesars’ employees have consistently played an important role in raising funds for cancer research by supporting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk, and other community events nationwide.
We know competition can bring the best out in our team members, especially when it comes to charitable causes. This is why the Caesars Foundation donates $25,000 to the three Caesars locations that do the most for breast cancer awareness month. Donations of $10,000, $8,000 and $7,000 are made to the local American Cancer Society chapters of the first, second and third-place winners.
Caesars locations Enterprise-wide compete for the money by decorating bras for the team member fashion show “Battle of the Bras,” making strides in breast cancer walks, and lighting their facilities pink inside and out.
So who will win the donation to their local American Cancer Society chapter? Check in next month to find out and see more of Caesars’ Breast Cancer Awareness activities by liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter.
